Meet Mrs. Bishop: Orla Brady Joins ‘Fringe’

According to sources, Irish actress Orla Brady will be joining the Fringe cast as the wife of Walter, and Peter’s Irish mother! She will play a strong, wise and charming character which will be first seen in the first few episodes of 2010 – it might just be before the February winter finale!
Brady’s last television appearance is the series Shark where her role is the former wife of James Wood. She is presently in Mistresses, a BBC drama series which at one point guested Anna Torv from Fringe.
There might be some folks out there who are discussing about Brady being too younger looking to be Peter’s mom. Well, she’s already 48; she might appear in memory flashbacks. That way we will be able to ultimately see how Walter took substitute Peter.
