Jackson, who plays the role of Peter Bishop in the series, said earlier that he is not sure what the future of his character will be in the show. He said in an interview that he is just assuming but is not really certain of the future. He said that the production started and he is sure that he is not in that production.

Joshua Jackson

Jackson said that the cliffhanger from the third season will eventually be resolved in the future. The actor said that the Peter cliffhanger can’t be left just like that, it should be resolved somehow. However, the actor is not sure how the solution will be.

Anna Torv
, who also stars in Fringe, said that Jackson will be in the fourth season of the series. This is also what Jeff Pinker, executive producer of the FOX series said, as well as Joel Wyman.

Watch out for for the fourth season of Fringe on September 23 on FOX.
