Talking about the show, he said that he thought the show was a great television series. He played the role of Walter Bishop who had an eccentric nature about him. He went on to say that it would be great to see the show recognized.

According to him, the show will be remembered for a long time, saying it would be in their consciousness for a while. He also noted that he was aware that some sort of campaign was on by some fans that want his contribution in the show to be recognized. He said he did not know why they were not recognized in at least one area, pointing out that some of the production was pretty incredible.

It said that it might be due to the fact that its genre is science fiction although he countered this by saying there are many shows now that are in that genre. “Fringe” came to an end after five seasons but the nomination for the 2013 Emmy Awards is yet to be announced.

Joel Wyman the show runner of the series has also been known to have said that an earlier version of one of the episodes which had Peter Bishop (Jackson) taken out “didn’t work”.

In an interview with a leading publication Jackson confirmed this saying, “I felt like season four had some clumsy moments trying to fudge through some of the logic leaps that you have to make. I was never a huge fan of the paradox that you get yourself into when you start dealing with circular time like that. [You start to wonder], if he didn’t exist, how is he here, and why do some people remember him, and why is only that memory bleeding through?”

However, Jackson did try to justify these quirks saying that some of the more unsuccessful plot twists on Fringe were on account of the show “being really brave creatively”. Expanding on the thought he said,

“You have to deal with the double-edged sword of our show being really brave creatively – that not every single one of the ideas is going to be masterful. When they’re swinging for the fences, they’re not all home runs.”

The last two episodes of Fringe air on Friday on Fox in the US and will be simulcast in the UK by Sky1.

The first hour begins with Walter almost coming to believe that he needs to give away his life for the greater good, but it ends with a emotional and touching father-son conversation. Then the finale focuses on Olivia which wasn’t really a good strategy.

Fauxlivia is still as lovely and attractive as she ever was, despite her old age. It was so interesting to watch her converse with Olivia. It was like returning to the old times.

It was as important for them to find a happy ending as to find a solution to their problems. If only Peter could hop from one world to the another. Lincoln has some interesting talk but overall it’s Olivia Dunham that reigns over the story.

Olivia is aware that her life would have been radically different had she chosen Lincoln over Peter. She is having a pretty happy life, so it’s not surprising that the begrudges this.

Michael learn about the secret plan and then decides to help his human friends. He know that’s the only way to save them.

Walter decides to help Michael in this by going to the future. This was a great sacrifice that required Peter’s life.

What they failed to notice was that life can sometimes change too quickly to notice. He was right. The plan doesn’t exactly unfold as they had suspected. He regrets that.

It wasn’t easy to go 19 years into future but luck is on their side and they succeed.

Elsewhere Broyles and Windmark have discovered a new leader to lead their resistance. It would be great to see how it plays out when the show returns next year.

The fate of humanity is on the line as Walter plans to make the ultimate sacrifice to stop the Observers before they were ever created.

To penetrate the Observers’ headquarters and rescue Michael, their only hope for victory, Olivia must use her abilities and meet with some old friends.

Walter agrees to pay with his life so that the plan could succeed. Michael demonstrates Walter and Nina his previous lives. It was so impressive that Walter later said he wasn’t afraid of getting his brain back after what he has seen.

He wanted to be a great man and he wasn’t afraid for the ultimate sacrifice; his death.

In fact things had started to fall in place the moment Donald was introduced as September. Initially the series taught us what an Observer was and how genes can be mutated to remove unwanted functions in a brain. That’s was going on in their mind and they chose Michael as guinea pig to show how intelligence can be combined with emotions to produce an ubermensch.

There were several questions asked at that time; for instance what era the Obverses belonged to. Now we know that they were from the future. They came to the present to implant a device on September to make him Donald.

Walter still thinks Donald is Michael’s father but Donald doesn’t agree. Windmark is interested in the genetic changes brought about by the Observers. One of the questions that still remains is: if Donald saved Michael because he though he was his son and is he merely pretending.

Anyway Donald as a human loves and cares for Michael and Walter is clearly impressed with that. The series is really a love story between a father and a son, irrespective of the way you look at it.

The initial plan was to send Michael into future to test a revolutionary experiment. There were a lot of hopes which didn’t realise.

Olivia was also hoping to get her daughter back which unfortunately didn’t materialise. The experiment, however, created an anomaly in the fabric of space-time which is at the root of all these weird accidents.

Even though the experiment didn’t go well for Michael and he ended up being like a autistic guy, he is more than that and capable of appreciating and understanding complex emotions. This episode once again proves that.

He has reportedly said that the finale will be very touching.

He told reporters that it will be a show to watch for and has said that though he has not yet seen the final episode, he knew the script and found it to be thrilling.

He has said that the scrip is poignant and also added that if this was not considered to be emotional than he did not know what the word meant.

The finale will be aired on Fox TV on January 18 on Friday and it can be seen in UK at 1.10 a.m. on January 19, Saturday in Sky1.

The episode shows the ‘fringe’ FBI division, where they try to solve puzzling cases that are linked to the parallel universe.

According to reports, the stars John Noble, Joshua Jackson and Anna Tory have said that the finale would be a truly spectacular event.

They were confident of the show garnering worldwide attention with its finale and have reportedly said that they hoped everything will turn out splendidly.

The series finale will be aired on ET at 8p.m. on January 18 on Fox TV.

While Walter tries to learn more about the mysterious Donald after Michael’s revelation, Windmark undertakes his own quest for knowledge.

He further explained that as the two were performing the scene, there was silence that one could hear a pin drop. Thereafter, there was applause for it was just an incredible performance. He added that when he sat with John Noble after it was over, reality then hit him. He had been too busy to realize that the series was coming to an end and so both of them sat in silence with lots of strange emotions running through them.

Even though Fringe has not dominated the ratings all through the 5 seasons run, it has enjoyed a loyal and devoted fanbase. It has also achieved 2 Emmy nominations and 7 Saturn Awards. It is for that reason that Lance Reddick could only describe the upcoming Fringe finale as the perfect way to end the series. Lance casts in the series as Broyles.

18th January 2013 is the date set for Fringe series to roll down its curtains with the very last 2 back to back episodes for both US and UK fans.
